Fraxinus cubensis Grisebach. Common name: Florida Water Ash, Cuban Water Ash. Habitat: Sloughs, ponds, other deeply flooded sites. Distribution: N. peninsular FL (Marion and Citrus counties), south to s. FL; Cuba.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Nesom (2010i); = Fraxinus caroliniana Mill. var. cubensis (Griseb.) Lingelsh.; < Fraxinus caroliniana Mill. — Fl6, GW2, K4, S, S13, WH3. Basionym: Fraxinus cubensis Griseb. 1866
