Sabatia arenicola Greenman. Common name: Sand Rose-gentian, Sand Sabatia. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Interdune depressions, wet pine savannas, saline flats. Distribution: Se. LA west through TX to ne. MX (TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA14, GW2, K4, Mex, Tx, Bell & Lester (1980), Pringle & Witsell (2004), Wilbur (1955); = Sabbatia carnosa Small — S13. Basionym: Sabatia arenicola Greenm. 1899
