Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: Var. erwiniae is tetraploid; the other varieties are hexaploid (Nelson, Elisens, & Benish 1998). This taxon is likely to be elevated to species rank (A. Nelson, pers. comm., 2023).
