Symphyotrichum estesii J.C. Semple. Common name: May Prairie Aster. Phenology: Aug-Nov. Habitat: Wet clay-pan prairie. Distribution: Apparently endemic (at least now, probably formerly more widespread) to May Prairie (Coffee County, TN, Eastern Highland Rim).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: See Semple (2019) for detailed information. Morphologically most similar to S. fontinale.
