Coreopsis nuecensis A. Heller. Common name: Crown Tickseed. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Sandy soils of oak woodlands. Distribution: Native of c. and s. TX; introduced eastward, as in e. LA and St. Johns County, FL.
