not marked as a favorite taxon Camassia angusta (Engelmann & A. Gray) Blankinship. Common name: Prairie Camas. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Mesic upland prairies, oak savannas, rocky woodlands. Distribution: Wc. Indiana, Illinois, e. Iowa south through Missouri, e. Kansas, c. and w. Arkansas, Oklahoma to se. and c. Texas. This species is very rare in Texas and overreported because of misidentifications of C. scilloides.
