Habitat: Poorly drained sites on sandy substrates within coastal prairies of the Coastal Bend area (Carr 2016). Distribution: Endemic in s. TX: Goliad, Matagorda (?), Nueces (?), Refugio, San Patricio and Wilson (?) counties (Carr 2016).
