Ambrosia cheiranthifolia A. Gray. Common name: Rio Grande Ragweed, South Texas Ambrosia. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Coastal prairies, in seasonally saturated clays. Distribution: S. TX (Cameron, Jim Wells, Kleberg, and Nueces counties) and ne. Mexico (COA, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA21, K4, Mex, Tx. Basionym: Ambrosia cheiranthifolia A.Gray 1859
