not marked as a favorite taxon Cypripedium candidum Muhlenberg ex Willdenow. Common name: White Lady's-slipper. Phenology: Apr-May (-Jun); Jun-Jul. Habitat: Calcareous barrens, bluffs, and fens. Distribution: New York and New Jersey west to North Dakota, south to w. Virginia, nw. and sc. Alabama, and s. Missouri and n. Arkansas (Sharp County, see iNat observation 208254637).
