*Helianthus pauciflorus Nuttall ssp. subrhomboideus (Rydberg) O. Spring & E.E. Schilling. Common name: Subrhomboidal Sunflower. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Pastures, roadsides, and along railroads. Distribution: ON, MI. west to BC, south to IN, MO, OK, and w. TX.
