Platanthera leucophaea (Nuttall) Lindley. Subgenus: Fimbriella. Common name: Prairie Fringed Orchid. Phenology: May-Aug. Habitat: Damp calcareous meadows. Distribution: ME west to NE, south to w. VA, nw. PA, c. OH, c. IN, IL, MO, and OK.
