Carex peckii Howe. Section: [26bbb] Section 39 Acrocystis. Common name: Peck's Sedge. Phenology: Mid May-mid Jul. Habitat: Mesic to dry calcareous rocky slopes and open forests, alvars. Distribution: Boreal North America, reaching furthest south to n. NJ, NY, n. OH, s. MI, s. WI, e. IA, NE, CO, and BC.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
