Croton glandulosus Linnaeus var. pubentissimus Croizat. Common name: South Texas Croton. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Coastal and near-coastal sand dunes. Distribution: Endemic of coastal TX, from se. TX (Brazoria County) to s. TX (Cameron and Hidalgo counties).
