*Crocosmia ×crocosmiiflora (Lemoine) N.E. Brown. Common name: Montbretia. Phenology: Late May-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas, ditches, especially in moist to wet sites, including salt marshes; Distribution: Both parents of the hybrid are native to sub-Saharan Africa. Reported for Lowndes and Thomas counties, GA (Carter, Baker, & Morris 2009).
