Pomaria jamesii (Torrey & A. Gray) Walpers. Common name: James's Holdback, Rushpea. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Prairies, grasslands, disturbed areas. Distribution: NE and CO south to c. TX, NM, AZ, and Mexico (CHH, COA, DUR); an outlier in sw. MO is very likely an introduction.
