Hymenocallis puntagordensis Traub. Common name: Punta Gorda Spiderlily, Small-cup Spiderlily. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Pine flatwoods. Distribution: Endemic to sw. peninsular FL (Charlotte County).
ID notes: H. puntagordensis is "easily distinguished from H. latifolia ny its highly coriaceous, suberect, narrowly liguliform leaves and its small staminal corona with prominently lacerate margins" (Smith & Flory 2002).
