Govenia floridana P.M. Brown. Florida Govenia. Phen: Nov-Dec. Hab: Rockland hammocks. Dist: Endemic to s. FL (Miami-Dade County); possibly extinct.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This species has also been considered to be a disjunct population of the much more widespread G. utriculata.

Synonymy: = FNA26, K3, K4, WH3, Brown (2002); < Govenia utriculata Sw.) Lindl. – Bah, WI, Luer (1972), misapplied
