Polystachya concreta (Jacquin) Garay & H.R. Sweet. Greater Yellowspike Orchid, Yellow Helmet Orchid. Phen: (Jan-) Sep-Dec. Hab: Epiphytic in swamps, sloughs, strands, and hammocks. Dist: S. FL; West Indies; possibly also in Mexico, Central America, and the Old World tropics, depending on the very uncertain circumscription of the species.
