Bouteloua aristidoides (Kunth) Grisebach. Common name: Three-awn Grama, Needle Grama. Phenology: (May-) Aug-Oct (-Nov). Habitat: Dry prairies and loamy alluvial areas; eastwards on ballast. Distribution: C. and s. TX west to CA south into Mexico.
