Bouteloua rigidiseta (Steudel) A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Texas Grama, Mesquite Grass. Phenology: Mar-Oct. Habitat: Prairies, roadsides, disturbed areas. Distribution: Sw. AR, OK, and e. NM south to w. LA, TX, and Mexico (CHH, COA, NLE, SON, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Ar, ETx1, FNA25, HC, K4, Mex, NcTx, NE, NS, POWO, Tx; = Polyodon texanus (S.Watson) Nash — S13. Basionym: Aegopogon rigidisetus Steud. 1855
