Equisetum sylvaticum Linnaeus. Common name: Woodland Horsetail. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Seepage swamps. Distribution: Circumboreal, south in North America to MD, n. VA, ec. WV, OH, MI, WI, IA, WY, MT, and WA.
