Muhlenbergia racemosa (Michaux) Britton, Sterns, & Poggenburg. Common name: Marsh Muhly. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Bottomland forests, streambanks, mesic to dry-mesic forests. Distribution: ON west to BC, south to IN, s. IL, s. MO, e. OK, TX, NM, AZ, and n. Mexico (COA, NLE, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
