*Ipheion uniflorum (Graham) Rafinesque. Common name: Star-of-Bethlehem, Spring Star. Phenology: Mar-Apr. Habitat: Commonly cultivated, escaping to lawns, suburban woodlands, bottomlands, disturbed places. Distribution: Native of South America (Argentina and Uruguay). Reported for SC by Hill & Horn (1997).
