Phenology: Mar-May (-Apr). Habitat: Pine rocklands, Florida scrub, scrubby pine flatwoods. Distribution: Endemic to Atlantic Coast Ridge of se. FL (St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties).
ID notes: The yellow-green flowers and narrowly oblanceolate leaves differ from the bright yellow flowers and spatulate leaves of Polygala nana. See key for more information.
