Delphinium carolinianum Walter ssp. vimineum (D. Don) M.J. Warnock. Common name: Pineywoods Larkspur, Texas Larkspur. Phenology: Mar-Jun (-Jul). Habitat: Grasslands, coastal prairies, longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Sw. AR south to MS , e. and w. LA, s. TX, and Mexico (CHH, COA, and TAM).
