Prunus gracilis Engelmann & A. Gray. Subgenus: Prunus. Common name: Oklahoma Plum, Sand Plum. Phenology: Mar-early Apr. Habitat: Sand barrens, dry woodlands with sandy soil. Distribution: Sw. AR, c. MS, and se. CO south to nw. LA, sc. TX, and e. NM.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
