Prunus rivularis Scheele. Common name: Creek Plum. Phenology: Late Feb-early Apr. Habitat: Limestone outcrops, calcareous clay soils. Distribution: S. KS and se. CO south through OK to sc. TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Treated broadly by Rohrer (in FNA9) to include P. munsoniana.
