Dichanthelium harvillii J.C. Ludwig & LeBlond. Common name: Difficult Creek Witchgrass. Habitat: Piedmont oak barrens over mafic and ultramafic rock. Distribution: So far as is known restricted to the type site in Halifax County, VA.
