Piriqueta viridis Small. Common name: Rockland Piriqueta. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands, pine flatwoods, other pinelands. Distribution: S. Florida, apparently extending northward to mid-peninsular FL, and (at least as introgressants with P. caroliniana) to n. FL; West Indies.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Needing additional taxonomic study.

Synonymy : = S, S13; < Piriqueta cistoides (L.) Griseb. ssp. caroliniana (Walter) Arbo — Fl2, FNA6, K4, NS, POWO, WH3, Arbo (1990), Arbo (1995). Basionym: Piriqueta viridis Small 1903
