Heuchera missouriensis Rosendahl. Common name: Missouri Alumroot, Interior Low Plateau Grotto Alumroot. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Shaded cliff bases, usually under overhangs, on grotto floors, nearly always in deeply shaded situations where little or no direct sunlight falls. Distribution: S. IN and s. IL south through Cumberland TN to n. AL and ne. MS (Tishomingo County).
