*Prunus yedoensis J. Matsumura. Common name: Yoshino Cherry. Phenology: Mar-Apr; May. Habitat: Suburban woodlands. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported as an escape in the DC area. See Diamond (2021) for discussion of occurrence in Alabama.
