Oenothera clelandii W. Dietrich, P.H. Raven, & W.L. Wagner. Sand Evening-primrose. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Sand prairies, riverbanks, dry, sandy disturbed areas. Dist: MI, WI, and MN south to KY and AR; scattered further east as introductions. Reported for SC (Kartesz 1999, 2021), but based on misidentification.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
