Dist: Native of e. South America, especially Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, and southern Brazil (less frequent in ne. Brazil, Guyana, and Venezuela). In our region, reported for sc. GA (HC), AL (Kartesz 1999), and se. TX.
