Smilax leptanthera Pennell. clade: C1. Common name: Warm Springs Carrionflower. Phenology: Late May. Habitat: Moist forests. Distribution: So far as known, endemic to wc. GA (type locality is Warm Springs, Meriwether County, in the lower Piedmont).
