Mesadenus lucayanus (Britton) Schlechter. Common name: Copper Ladies’-tresses, Gray Ladies’-tresses. Phenology: Late Dec-Mar. Habitat: Shell middens, dry calcareous hammocks. Distribution: Ne. FL (Duval County) south to s. FL; West Indies; e. Mexico and n. Central America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
