Dicranopteris flexuosa (Schrader) Underwood. Drooping Forked-fern. Phen: Jan-Dec. Hab: Wet pine flatwoods, moist disturbed areas; apparently a native waif or adventive in our area, individual occurrences often not persisting for long. Dist: FL Panhandle (Bay and Franklin counties) and FL peninsula, s. AL (Mon Louis Island, Mobile County); West Indies; s. Mexico (CHP, OAX, TAB, VER), Central America, and South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
