Carex striatula Michaux. Section: [26bb] Section 19 Laxiflorae. Lined Sedge. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Bottomland and other nutrient-rich forests. Dist: CT, se. NY, PA, s. OH, and w. KY south to n. FL, Panhandle FL, and s. MS. Former attribution of a wider distribution to the west (west of the Mississippi River) represents Carex ignota.
