Eleocharis geniculata (Linnaeus) Roemer & J.A. Schultes. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Marshes, moist disturbed areas. Distribution: Widespread but scattered across much of the United States; West Indies, Central America, South America, Asia, Africa. Known from a single Bissell collection from Presque Isle, PA (S. Grund, pers. comm.; 2024)
