Andropogon longiberbis Hackel. Longbeard Bluestem. Phen: Sep-Oct (-Aug). Hab: Dry sandy soils of sandhills and dunes, calcareous wet pinelands and dry pine rocklands (this may be another new species, under study). Dist: Se. NC south to s. and w. FL; Bahamas.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: The Florida plants in calcareous situations may represent an undescribed species.

Synonymy: = FlGr, FNA25, HC, K1, K3, K4, S, S13, WH3, Campbell (1983); = Anatherum longiberbe (Hack.) Voronts. & E.A.Kellogg – Vorontsova et al (2023); = n/a – RAB
