Cinna arundinacea Linnaeus. Common name: Common Woodreed, Sweet Woodreed. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Bottomland forests, rocky bars in rivers, tidal freshwater marshes, other low, wet habitats. Distribution: NB and MN south to s. GA (Carter, Baker, & Morris 2009) and TX.
