*Pseudosasa japonica (Siebold & Zuccarini ex Steudel) Makino ex Nakai. Common name: Arrow Bamboo. Habitat: Cultivated as an ornamental, persistent or spreading from plantings. Distribution: Native of Japan. This species has the potential to become invasive; it is likely already much more common in the Southeast than the map indicates.
