*Pseudosasa japonica (Siebold & Zuccarini ex Steudel) Makino ex Nakai. Arrow Bamboo. Hab: Cultivated as an ornamental, persistent or spreading from plantings. Dist: Native of Japan. This species has the potential to become invasive; it is likely already much more common in the Southeast than the map indicates.
