*Ginkgo biloba Linnaeus. Ginkgo, Maidenhair Tree. Hab: Frequently planted, rarely seeding down locally near plantings in suburban woodlands and yards. Dist: Native to se. China; Ginkgo was only weakly naturalized in our area according to Whetstone (1993), but is now naturalizing more extensively.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia
