2024 has been a banner year for making the best flora we can imagine. We've created:

Crotalaria incana Linnaeus var. incana . Shake-shake, Velvety Rattlebox. Phen: Feb-Oct (-Jan). Hab: Disturbed areas. Dist: Native of the tropics, variously interpreted as pantropical or only Paleotropical. Also in peninsular FL, from Alachua County southward.

Origin/Endemic status: Pantropics

Taxonomy Comments: A second variety is present in Africa, and not known to be introduced in our area.
