*Aruncus sylvester Kosteletzky ex Maximowicz. European Goat's-beard. Hab: Cultivated. There appears to be no definite evidence of naturalization in our area. Dist: This European species is occasionally cultivated in e. North America and is attributed to our area by Small (1933), on unknown grounds.
