*Exochorda racemosa (Lindley) Rehder. Common name: Pearlbush. Phenology: Mar-Apr. Habitat: Disturbed areas, woodland borders, suburban woodlands. Distribution: Native of China. First reported for SC by Hill & Horn (1997) and for AL by Diamond (2014). This species appears to have substantial likelihood of increasingly naturalizing and becoming invasive.
