Pseudophoenix sargentii H. Wendland ex Sargent. Buccaneer Palm, Datelet, Florida Cherry Palm. Hab: Rockland hammocks. Dist: S. FL (keys of Miami-Dade and Monroe counties); West Indies; s. Mexico (CAM, ROO, YUC); Central America (Belize). Apparently remaining in Florida at only a single population.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = Bah, FNA22, K3, K4, Mex, S13, WH3, WI, Zona (1997), Zona (2002); < Pseudophoenix vinifera (Mart.) Becc. – S, misapplied
