Viola primulifolia Linnaeus. Section: Plagiostigma. Subsection: Stolonosae. Primrose-leaf Violet. Phen: Dec-May. Hab: Bogs, wet savannas, pocosins, sandhill streamhead ecotones, moist organic soils along small streams. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) to ON, south to s. FL, and west to TX and se. OK.
