Hypericum mutilum Linnaeus var. latisepalum Fernald. Southern Dwarf St. John’s-wort. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Marshes and other wet habitats. Dist: Se. SC south to s. FL, west to TX. Fernald (1950) considers this taxon to be north to NJ.
