Persicaria amphibia (Linnaeus) Delarbre var. stipulacea (Coleman) Hara. Section: Persicaria. Common name: Water Smartweed. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Marshes, wet disturbed areas. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland), NU, and AK south to NJ, DE, PA, CA, and Mexico.
