Silene rotundifolia Nuttall. Roundleaf Fire-pink, Sandstone Fire-pink. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Sandstones cliffs, ledges, and talus, and at bases of sandstone cliffs. Dist: S. OH and WV south to nw. GA (Jones & Coile 1988) and n. AL, nearly restricted to the Cumberland Plateau.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
